Looking for information about John Scott Jobe, Dewey Jobe, John Dillon Jobe, Philenaeh (Walker) Jobe, Susan Jobe. Most of my grandfather and ggrandfathers family members are buried in the Newtown Cemetery, but I do not know of any current living family and would like to locate them. Other Jobe´s are buried in the Green City Cemetery, Asbury and the cemetery there in Milan near the hospital(can´t recall the name of this very large cemetery).

I would love to correspond with any living Jobe´s that still reside in Sullivan County if at all possible. My mailing address is:

My great grandfather, Thomas Edwards, lived in Pollock or Unionville, MO in Sullivan County [Unionville is in Putnam County-ed] in the early 1900s. My Grandfather, Gerald Edwards was born there approximately in 1908. I can´t find any information on Thomas Edwards, and can´t get any further in our family tree. Can anyone help me?

I am trying to find information on my father´s family. They lived in Milan. His name was Francis Bonnett. His mother and step-father had a farm in Milan. I am not sure how to spell their last name. Her name was Orpha Kaiser. My father has a brother in Browning named Billy Krazer (spelling questionable). If you can help I would be most grateful.

Daniel MUCK (b. 15 January 1812, Washington Co., MD, d. 12 September 1884, Sullivan Co., MO) brought his family to Sullivan Co. in 1856 or 1857 after his wife, Nancy WERTZ, died in Daviess Co., IN, 16 December 1856. Daniel md. Mrs. Dicy BURRIS COURTNEY in Sullivan Co., 15 January 1858. His children all married in Sullivan Co.: Anthony (1858 to Edyth Mariah STEWART), Catherine Ann (1- 1857 to Gabriel LESLIE; 2- 1864 to Riley M. SMILEY), Sarah Ann (1858 to Matthew BURRIS), Margaret Ann (1858 to Jesse BURRIS), John (1864 to Clarinda BURRIS), Daniel (1870 to Rachel or Phebe BURRIS), and Mary Melissa (1882 to Elijah SMILEY).

Price STEWART (b. 13 April 1806, Kentucky, d. 1 May 1869, Sullivan Co., MO) brought his family to Sullivan Co. about 1851 after his wife, Mariah RENNICK (or REMMEK) died in Lee Co., IA. He might be the same Price STEWART who md. Susanna MORELOCK in Sullivan Co., 7 September 1851. Several of his children married in Sullivan Co.: George Seigle (1856 to Mary Jane WILLIAMS), Edyth Mariah (1858 to Anthony MUCK), Harriett (1859 to Samuel A. TODD), and Samuel Price (1865 to Mary E. MOORE).

Searching for information on the George and Lydia Huntley PEARSON family. They were the parents of Branson Bell and John Warren PEARSON. Branson has several decendants living in Sullivan Co. in and near Jackson and Penn Townships. George and Lydia were born in VA and moved in the late 1700s to OH where most of their children were born. They moved to MO in the late 1840s. Related families are Grindstaff/Morley/Easterday/Hamilton/Perkins. Pierson is another spelling of surname.
